The WEB Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures changes in the cost of a basket of goods and services purchased by households in Malaysia. The base year for the index is 2010. The CPI is calculated monthly and published by the Department of Statistics Malaysia.

The CPI for June 2023 increased by 0.5% compared to May 2023. This increase was mainly due to a rise in the price of food, which increased by 0.8%. The CPI for June 2023 was 133.0 index points, which is 2.8% higher than the CPI for June 2022.
